SED Alums Top Teachers in Palm Beach, FL School District
For the second year in a row, SED alums have been named Teacher of the Year in the Palm Beach School District of Florida. The award, now in its third year, recognizes noteworthy achievement in the first year of teaching. In 2009, Eileen O’Brien SED’81 was named Teacher of the Year for her work as a kindergarten teacher at Del Prado Elementary School west of Boca Raton. Most recently, Christopher Burns SED’09 was named the 2010 Teacher of the Year for his work as a high school teacher at Alexander W. Dreyfoos, Jr. School of the Arts.
