Faculty Travel Award Application Form

BU Wheelock’s Faculty Travel Award Fund supports faculty members’ professional growth and development. After the request is submitted, it will be reviewed by your department chair. If the request is approved, faculty will receive email notification of approval from your administrative coordinator. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.

Eligibility

Full-time faculty members are invited to submit applications for awards of up to $2800 during the current academic year. The allocated funds may be distributed across multiple requests.

Terms

Travel expenses for trips taken after June 1st but before June 30th will be reimbursed in the following fiscal year. Any Concur reports submitted after June 1st for previous travel cannot be processed until the next fiscal year due to year-end processing constraints. These reports will be deducted from your FY 2025 travel allocation, and any remaining balance in the FY 2024 allocation will be forfeited.
