Our Programs
The College Access & Student Success Office at BU Wheelock manages programs that support students at nearly every grade level, from kindergarten to postdoctoral. Many of these programs work by giving students access to learning and mentoring opportunities that help them expand on their classroom experience. Others work by creating direct service opportunities for BU students, and through specialized scholarship opportunities for students attending Boston University.
In addition to the benefit these programs hold for the participating students, they also contribute significantly to our college’s understanding of the positive impact such programs can have on students. We intend for the data these projects generate–including academic and career outcomes, graduation rates, and direct feedback from participating students–to be used in support of educational research, and to support the continued refinement of our own management of such programs.
