Getting to the Forum

March 30 is Opening Day for the Boston Red Sox, and Fenway Park is just a few short blocks away from all Forum events. Although the game begins at 2:10 pm and should be over by the time Forum events begin, plan for the possibility that the area may be busy and traffic may be congested.

Via Public Transportation

Public transportation is available to BU’s Forum locations via Boston’s MBTA and the BU shuttle.

MBTA Green Line (B-line) stops:
Tsai Performance Center and Data & Computing Sciences: Boston University East
Metcalf Trustee Center: Blandford Street

From Logan Airport

If you are coming from Logan International Airport, a taxi will cost $40-$50 and take 20 to 50 minutes (depending on traffic). Uber and Lyft services are also available, as well as public transportation via the MBTA.

Parking

Parking at a discounted rate ($12) has been reserved for Forum attendees at Warren Towers Garage, Lot K, located at 700 Commonwealth Ave., just across the street from our event locations.

On Friday, parking at Warren Towers will be limited. If capacity is reached, you will be given a code for discounted parking and redirected to overflow parking at Agganis Arena (a .9 mile walk to the Metcalf Trustee Center at 925 Commonwealth Ave., or take the T from the Amory Street or Babcock Street stops).

Parking meters around BU’s campus are free after 6 pm.

Lodging

Several hotels are within a short distance of Boston University. Many Boston-area hotels offer special rates and discounts to the BU community, as well as their family and friends. For a list of local hotels, visit here (expand the hotel tab).

Food and Dietary Needs

Complimentary food and drink will be provided at Thursday’s reception and on Friday (morning tea/coffee and pastries and a box lunch). We’ve attempted to accommodate a variety of dietary needs in our menu planning.  However, in the case of concerns or a severe allergy, speak to a member of the catering waitstaff at the event.
