Jennifer Hurley
Part-Time Instructor
Jennifer Hurley, LMHC, is a part-time instructor in the Counseling Psychology program at BU Wheelock College of Education & Human Development. Outside teaching graduate-level courses in counseling psychology, she is a licensed mental health counselor in private practice in Hopkinton, Mass. She specializes in cognitive behavioral therapy for children, adolescents, and adults.
Ms. Hurley has additionally served on the nonprofit board for the Massachusetts Mental Health Counselors Association and has supported LMHC education and advocacy through other roles, including the private practice director and workshop presenter. She is the recipient of the MaMHCA Professional Service and Leadership Award in 2019 and the MaMHCA Educator of the Year award in 2020.
