James M. LaBillois

Part-Time Instructor

Dr. James M. LaBillois is a part-time instructor at BU Wheelock College of Education & Human Development. He is the assistant superintendent of student support services for the Brockton Public Schools in Brockton, Mass. He previously served as the assistant superintendent of schools for Hingham Public Schools in Hingham, Mass., and as both the director of student services and the executive director of instruction with Norwell Public Schools in Norwell, Mass.

Dr. LaBillois began his educational career as a psychologist with Boston Public Schools and is a licensed educational psychologist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. He remains active within educational communities outside of K–12 education, serving on numerous professional committees and as a consultant for the US Agency for International Development in Skopje, Macedonia. He has also provided several contracted professional development sessions for school districts across southeastern Massachusetts.
