Professor Edson Joins Leaders in Early Childhood STEM Education at NAEYC Conference
Professor Marcia Edson, a clinical assistant professor in Early Childhood Education with a specialization in science education, was a part of the Early Childhood Science Interest Forum Networking Panel at the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) national conference. Professor Edson’s recent book, Starting with Science, was one of the resources highlighted at the forum.
The NAEYC sponsors the largest early childhood conference in the world, drawing educators, administrators, policymakers, and researchers from all 50 states, Asia, Europe, and Latin America. The Early Childhood Science Interest Forum is sponsored by NAEYC to promote effective inquiry-based STEM education for young children.
