BU Wheelock Rises Again in US News Ranking
As graduate programs move up, educational policy program attains specialty ranking for second year
For the third year in a row, BU Wheelock has risen in the rankings of the nation’s best graduate schools of education, climbing to #35 by US News & World Report.
For a second consecutive year, BU Wheelock’s Educational Leadership & Policy Studies program is ranked #24 among educational policy programs, again recognized for its work in educational policy, equity, and human development.
“BU Wheelock’s continued recognition, both in our overall standing and for our Education Policy program, reflects the extraordinary dedication of our faculty, students, and alumni to advancing meaningful, systems-level change in education,” says Dean Penny Bishop.
“Consecutive years in the US News & World Report education policy rankings signal that BU Wheelock’s program has established itself as a serious national voice in the field,” says Marcus Winters, professor and chair of BU Wheelock’s Educational Leadership & Policy Studies Department. “We’re proud of what our faculty and students have accomplished, and we remain committed to the kind of rigorous, impactful work that earned us this recognition.”
The US News & World Report rankings of graduate schools of education are released annually, assessing key metrics including academic reputation, student outcomes, and research activity.
