BU Wheelock Faculty Coaches are available to support your transition to Learn from Anywhere (LfA) teaching during the Summer and Fall semesters. Have questions about the LfA model? IS&T has made changes to the moderator training for Spring 2021. Please share this with any TA’s this semester that would benefit from this training.
The training is divided into two parts:
1. Blackboard training (3 hours)
How to access:
1) Go to Blackboard
2) Log in if prompted
3) You will be brought to “User is not enrolled in course.” (this is expected)
4) Click “Click here to enroll.”
5) Click “+ Enroll” (to the left)
6) Click “Submit”

2. In-Person Classroom Technology Training (90 minutes)

We highly recommend signing up for the earliest slot for which you are available. If you find that, due to quarantine, you are unable to sign up for any of the listed sessions, we can add Saturday classes as needed.

Designed to: Help faculty integrate face-to-face students and students participating remotely; CMs monitor remote participation including chat features, or raised hands; they ensure that content is accessible to all students and provide basic technological and Zoom support to instructors.

Please submit your Spring 2021 request by December 15th. Due to the accelerated nature of this initiative, we need requests in as soon as possible. After December 15, efforts to match you with a moderator will be best effort.
