Education & Human Development
The BS in Education and Human Development undergraduate major combines education, human development, psychology, and the social sciences. During your time at BU Wheelock, you’ll take both core and signature courses, and choose one of our specialization pathways in your sophomore or junior year in consultation with your advisors.
- SED ED 120: Exploring Professions that Impact Lives I (4 credits)
- SED ED 121: Field Seminar (2 credits)
- SED CE 342: Anti-Oppressive Practice: Education & Applied Psychology (4 credits)
- CAS WR 120: First-Year Writing Seminar (4 credits)
- Hub elective (4 credits)

o Historical Consciousness (HCO)
o Scientific Inquiry I or II (SI1)
