Curriculum & Teaching Program Sheets

This webpage is a resource for Wheelock advisors working with students from one or more of our special cohorts who are seeking either an Ed.M. in C&T or pursuing licensure through Wheelock coursework.

As you advise students, please keep in mind:

A. Students seeking endorsement for licensure from an entity other than Boston University (ex. TFA or City on a Hill) should be directed to their institution’s advisor if they have questions about licensure coursework.

B. The proposed courses of study found on these sheets have been developed to fulfill licensure requirements and/or have been designed to suit the wishes of our various partners. In order to receive the EdM in C&T degree from Boston University, students only need to meet the 3 requirements listed below, which are also outlined in the Bulletin.

  1. Core coursework: SED RS 600 Introduction to research
  2. Core coursework: 12 credits of any Wheelock courses with the prefixes BI, CE, CH, CT, DE, EC, EN, HE, LR, LS, LW, ME, PE, SC, SE, SO, or TL
  3. Elective coursework: 20 credits

To locate the relevant Program Sheet(s), please select a track from the list on this page. From there, you may choose a program sheet that corresponds with:

  1. Partner institution
  2. Campus location (Boston vs. online)
  3. Licensure intent
