Dr. Jennifer Green Named to Clarivate Analytics’ Annual List of Highly Cited Researchers
Clarivate Analytics has included Dr. Jennifer Green, associate professor in BU Wheelock’s Special Education program, on their most recent list of highly cited researchers. This annual list recognizes influential researchers in the sciences and social sciences from around the world, “focus[ing] on contemporary research achievement”:
“Only highly cited papers in science and social sciences journals indexed in the Web of Science Core Collection during the 11-year period 2006-2016 were surveyed. Highly cited papers are defined as those that rank in the top 1% by citations for field and publication year.”
Dr. Green is among the most active faculty researchers at BU Wheelock, where her work “investigates the role of schools in facilitating mental health service provision for youth with emotional and behavioral disorders, with the ultimate goals of increasing access to mental health services for students who need it most, and decreasing disparities in service access.”
Her research has been funded by the National Institute of Mental Health, National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities, MetroWest Community Health Foundation, and Deborah Munroe Noonan Memorial Research Fund. Recent publications have appeared in Psychological Assessment, Journal of Emotional and Behavioral Disorders, and Evidence-Based Practice in Child & Adolescent Mental Health. Dr. Green’s faculty profile lists her most recent publications, presentation, and other faculty activity.
Dr. Green is also the co-director, with Dr. Melissa Holt, of the Social Adjustment & Bullying Prevention Lab. The Lab seeks “to better understand and promote healthy social adjustment among youth in order to foster psychological well-being and academic success,” and pursues that goal through research-based school partnerships. The Lab’s research team has included BU Wheelock undergraduate students, master’s students, and doctoral students.
