Department of Counseling Psychology & Applied Human Development Hosts Inaugural Awards Luncheon

On May 3, faculty members of BU Wheelock’s department of Counseling Psychology & Applied Human Development hosted their inaugural awards ceremony, which recognized current students and alumni of the department’s programs.

“Faculty often informally discuss the outstanding accomplishments of students and alumni,” says Dr. Melissa Holt, current department chair. “We decided it would be important to do so in a more formal way, and were thrilled that in the inaugural year 70 people attended.”

At the ceremony, one student and one alum from each of the department’s six degree programs were selected to receive awards.
