Boston University’s certificate of advanced graduate study (CAGS) in Mathematics Education is geared toward experienced teachers who already have teaching licenses and master’s degrees. With the CAGS from BU Wheelock College of Education & Human Development, you’ll broaden your knowledge about mathematics education, become a more effective leader in the classroom, and develop your skills as a curriculum developer and researcher.
As a student in the CAGS program, you’ll select from a variety of course offerings in mathematics education that are based on current research and pedagogy. You’ll have opportunities to grow as a leader, conduct research in classrooms, and learn to develop curriculum. You’ll work with your advisor to tailor your program to meet your career interests and goals.
