Carol Jenkins (Wheelock’66) and General Dennis L. Via (retired) (Wheelock’88) Named 2019 Distinguished Alumni Award Recipients
Since its inception in 1946, the Boston University Distinguished Alumni Awards have been the highest honor that the University bestows upon alumni. Awardees are honored each year in the presence of the alumni, students, families, and guests gathered to celebrate this important tradition. This year, two BU Wheelock Alumni have been selected as recipients of the Distinguished Alumni Award.
Carol Jenkins (Wheelock’66) is an award-winning writer, producer and media consultant and General Dennis L. Via (retired) (Wheelock’88) is a retired four-star general who served in the US Army. Read their full biographies on the Alumni Awards website here.
