Request for merit scholarship reconsideration

Wheelock College of Education and Human Development at Boston University exclusively awards scholarships based on academic merit, and all offers are communicated at the time of admission. We understand that accepted students may wish to increase their scholarship offer to make enrollment a financial feasibility, or to match a competitive offer from another institution. 

 By completing the form below, accepted students at BU Wheelock can be reconsidered for additional merit scholarship. While BU Wheelock does not have the resources to award scholarship based on financial need, please use the form to tell our team why you are requesting an increase. It is helpful if you include the dollar amount that would make it possible for you to attend BU Wheelock this coming fall. The BU Wheelock Admissions and Financial aid office, in conjunction with Faculty, will review all scholarship reconsideration requests on a case-by-case basis.  

 *Applicants that request reconsideration prior to March 25th will be notified about their decision by email no later than April 22nd.  

**Applicants that request reconsideration on, or after, March 25th will be notified of their decisions during the month of June.
