For more than ten years, she has worked on various research projects on migration, borders, women\u2019s labor, asylum, and gender and has been a member of different migrant solidarity and feminist groups. She received her PhD in Sociology at Middle East Technical University in 2022 and is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Center on Forced Displacement at Boston University.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>In her postdoctoral research, she examines Turkey\u2019s expanding deportation regime and the construction of deportability through the experiences of women and queer refugees from an intersectional feminist perspective.
