He also dabbles in philosophy of mind, philosophy of art, philosophical methodology, metaphysics, philosophy of cognitive science, and experimental philosophy. His most recent book is<span>\u00a0<\/span><em>Metasemantics, Intersectionality, and Truth in the Misinformation Age,<span>\u00a0<\/span><\/em>published in September 2021 with Palgrave Macmillan. Derek started teaching at BU in 2015. His regular courses include Reason &amp; Argumentation (PH 160), Introduction to Ethics (PH 150), and Introduction to Philosophy (PH 100).
