During his 30-years as a television/radio news anchor, Elliott has worked alongside some of the most influential media executives in the U.S. including FOX News President and chairman, Roger Ailes, former CNN Executive Vice President Ed Turner, and the founder and former CEO of Johnson Publishing Company, John H. Johnson. In 2002, shortly after joining the ABC news affiliate in Washington DC, (WJLA-TV) Elliott was thrust into the rigors of live, non-stop coverage of the DC sniper shootings and investigation, (…sometimes speaking live on-camera 8-9 hours unscripted) as co-anchor for ABC-7’s ‘Good Morning Washington’.  A skilled interviewer, Elliott once convinced Singer John Denver to go “on-camera” with details of his upcoming DUI trial. As a media trainer, he’s counseled many others on how to avoid this trap.

In 2011 Elliott was awarded the Associated Press Mid-Atlantic radio news award for “Breaking News for his reporting on the 2010 Discovery Building hostage crisis.”

A two-time Emmy Award winning television news anchor and reporter, Elliott is the founder and President of Inside Image Productions LLC, a new media/broadband video, design and consulting firm. Elliott is currently weekend anchor, managing editor for WAMU 88.5. the NPR radio affiliate for Washington DC and the #1 radio station (2012-2014) in the Washington DC market.

Elliott is also a ‘Rescue’ level PADI certified SCUBA diver, a private pilot (student) and a lifelong aviation enthusiast. He and his wife Arnetia and their son Trevor, make their home in Montgomery County, Maryland.
