It\u2019s also helpful to discuss your leave plans and return-from-leave semester timing with your advisor, update your path-to-degree, and adjust your expected graduation term (if necessary) before proceeding with a leave of absence or discontinuation request.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ready to submit a Fall 2026 leave or discontinuation request?<\/strong><br \/>\nSubmit a leave or discontinuation request using the <a href=\"https:\/\/student.bu.edu\/MyBU\/s\/academics\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">MyAcademic Guide<\/a>.
