Our research is focused on developing machine-learning tools for neurodegenerative diseases and cancer. We are looking for enthusiastic programmers who can work on software development and UI design. The goal is to connect the front-end with the back-end servers, which run the machine learning models.

The student will have the opportunity to work with a diverse team of computer scientists, medical students, and machine learning experts. Moreover, the student will have opportunity to interface with experts at the Questrom School of Business, and learn about various opportunities related to AI in healthcare.

They are expected to spend at least 10 hours per week and meet with the direct mentor once a week.

If successful, students will have an opportunity to present their work at various BU-wide conferences.
