International Refugee Law

Volunteer Basis, Potential for UROP Funding

Angela Remus is a Lecturer in Law at Boston University School of Law. Her research focuses on international protection regimes for refugees and migrants. Professor Remus is currently working on an article addressing the Colombian Temporary Protection Statute for Venezuelans, and she is seeking an undergraduate student to research comparative examples of “temporary protection” regimes in other countries (e.g., Uganda, Kenya, Turkey).

Professor Remus is looking for an undergraduate researcher who has excellent attention to detail, strong research and citation skills, and an interest in research at the intersection of social science and law. Professor Remus will provide training/guidance on legal research strategies to the selected student(s).
