As a student, she engaged in social psychology research focused on the psychology of stereotyping and the cognitive processes behind prejudice.<\/p>\n<p>Following graduation, she worked as a Research Specialist I at the Medical University of South Carolina in a lab which investigated the molecular mechanisms underlying reward-related behaviors.<\/p>\n<p>Now, she serves as Laboratory Supervisor for the Undergraduate Program in Neuroscience.
