Integrated Science Experience I<\/h2><\/p>\n
ISE 1 is offered every Spring semester.<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\nAre you taking NE 102 or BI 108 in the Spring? Are you also taking CH 102 in the Spring? Are you interested in a\u00a0research-like<\/strong> lab experience?<\/p>\nLearning Objectives<\/strong><\/p>\n\n- To reinforce foundational concepts of Chemistry, Biology and Neuroscience in an interdisciplinary lab format that is realistic to how the disciplines are applied in a biomedical research setting.<\/li>\n
- To build technical skills at lab techniques and experimental approaches that are used in each of these disciplines, as well as in interdisciplinary areas like drug discovery.<\/li>\n
- To promote scientific critical thinking and independence, through the student-driven development of a Capstone Project<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
