You should meet with your assigned advisor at least <\/span>once per semester<\/b> to discuss the future direction of your curriculum and get cleared to register. Students studying abroad should contact their assigned advisor, or <\/span>Kaylyn Dorsey (<\/span>kdorsey2@bu.edu<\/span><\/a>) to discuss their course plans. Your assigned advisor can be found on your MyBU Dashboard. If you do not currently have an advisor listed, please contact Kaylyn to be assigned to someone.<\/span><\/p>\n

Scheduling an Appointment<\/h3>

How to Schedule an Advising Appointment through MyBU:<\/b><\/p>\n

  1. Go to your MyBU Student Dashboard.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n
  2. In the red column on the left side of your screen, select\u00a0Advising > Appointments.<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Click the\u00a0‘New Appointment’<\/strong> button.<\/li>\n
  4. Select\u00a0NEUROSCIENCE<\/strong> from the\u00a0‘Department’<\/strong> drop-down menu.<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. Select your\u00a0Meeting Type<\/strong> (i.e., what you’d like to talk about in the meeting), your\u00a0Advisor<\/strong>, and the\u00a0Meeting Mode<\/strong> (virtual or in-person).<\/li>\n
  6. Write a brief summary of what you’d like to discuss.\u00a0The more specific you are, the better we can prepare for your appointment!<\/strong><\/li>\n
  7. Use the calendar to select a day\/time that works for you. Advisors may schedule up to two weeks in advance, so if you cannot find any appointments, please check back in the next few days.<\/li>\n
  8. Once you’ve selected an appointment\u00a0time<\/strong> and mode<\/strong>, click\u00a0‘Schedule.’<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
