{"id":5815,"date":"2022-03-24T13:00:53","date_gmt":"2022-03-24T17:00:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/undergradorientation\/?page_id=5815"},"modified":"2026-08-27T22:32:10","modified_gmt":"2026-08-28T02:32:10","slug":"schedule","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/undergradorientation\/what-to-expect\/schedule\/","title":{"rendered":"Fall 2026 On-Campus Orientation Schedule"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Orientation is a required program for all new Boston University undergraduate students.<\/p>\n<p>Please keep the following in mind:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Registration for Fall Orientation went live on May 1, 2026 via your MyBU Student Portal.<\/li>\n<li>Students must participate in all of the required Orientation activities and are highly encouraged to register for at least 2-3 elective sessions.<\/li>\n<li>For students living on campus, you will be able to move into your on-campus housing assignment on Monday, August 24, 2026 or Tuesday, August 25, 2026. Check out the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/housing\/living\/moving\/\">housing website <\/a>\u00a0for information on how to select a move-in time slot.<\/li>\n<li>Late arrivals and early dismissals do not give you the opportunity to experience the full program. View the most <a href=\"https:\/\/canva.link\/73irqsit4wu7mk1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">detailed schedule<\/a> or the <a href=\"https:\/\/canva.link\/irjguqq9ygfkuar\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">overview schedule<\/a> to learn more about what to expect during the on-campus Orientation program.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Days 1-2: Track-Based Programming<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>When you check in for orientation, you&#8217;ll receive your group number and track letter. During Days 1 and 2, you&#8217;ll follow your assigned track schedule and be guided by Orientation Leaders.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Day 3 and Beyond: Elective Sessions<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>When you register for Orientation through your MyBU Student Portal, you&#8217;ll also create a personalized schedule of elective sessions. Elective sessions begin on Day 3 of Orientation.<\/p>\n<p>You can view your schedule and make changes to your Orientation registration through the Portal until August 1, 2026.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Didn&#8217;t pre-register for any orientation elective sessions?<\/strong> No problem!
