My name is Jerry (he\/him) and I&#8217;m double majoring in Architectural Studies and Sociology. I love hanging out at the BUCK because of the community that it supports. It&#8217;s a space where students and staff can bond over having to fix a flat tire, adjusting squeaky brakes, or needing an escape from academia. For me, it&#8217;s also the space that allows the Urbanism Club at BU to thrive. It&#8217;s hard to imagine if the Urbanism Club would be what it is today without the BUCK. On that note, my favorite moments on a bike have been those that I get to share with other people. Whether it&#8217;s about going for an Esplanade bike ride with my best friends or if it&#8217;s riding with hundreds of others at Critical Mass, what&#8217;s so special to me about biking is its power to build community. In a time where everything is meant to divide us, I&#8217;ve seen how biking has the power to rekindle our shared human spirit.
