Please be sure to <strong>familiarize yourself with BU\u2019s new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/ehs\/ehs-topics\/dormintory-safety\/micromobility-devices-mmds-guidance-document\/\">Micromobility Guidelines<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Here are the basics:<br \/>\n\u2013 bikes and scooters should never be ridden or stored in common areas, hallways, dining halls, or classrooms<br \/>\n\u2013 only <span>registered<\/span> bikes and scooters can be stored in dorm rooms, offices, and secure bike rooms<br \/>\n\u2013 electric-powered devices must bear the mark of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ul.com\/services\/personal-e-mobility-evaluation-testing-and-certification\">UL-certification<\/a> in order to be registered<br \/>\n\u2013 violation of these guidelines may result in impound of your bike or scooter<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Safety is important when riding your bike or scooter.
