Her passion for languages and literature evolved into a fascination with literary translation, focusing on translating from both Mandarin and Japanese into English. To hone her craft, she entered several translation competitions and was selected as a finalist in the Twenty-first Annual JAT Contest for New and Aspiring Japanese&lt;&gt;English Translators held in 2025.
