Her most recent book, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Reconstructing-Woman-Fiction-Reality-Nineteenth-Century\/dp\/0271032677\/ref=sr_1_2\/105-5065638-9380406?ie=UTF8&amp;s=books&amp;qid=1189352100&amp;sr=8-2\"><em>Reconstructing Woman<\/em><\/a>, examines the nineteenth-century literary theme of the construction of an artificial woman. Her other publications include <em>Telling Glances: Voyeurism in the French Novel<\/em>; <em>Fictional Genders: Role and Representation in Nineteenth-Century French Narrative<\/em>; \u201cEmma\u2019s Distinctive Taste\u201d (<em>Australian Journal of French <\/em>Studies); and \u201cExperimenting on Women\u201d in <em>Spectacles of Realism: Gender, Body, Genre,<\/em> edited by Christopher Prendergast and Margaret Cohen. She continues work on a new book project that explores the metaphor of the living dead in the works of Balzac, Baudelaire, and Zola.<\/p>\n<p>Professor Kelly teaches courses on psychoanalysis and literature, the French novel, gender and the novel, nineteenth-century French literature, literature and transgression, and the literary construction of identity.<\/p>\n<p>Selected Publications:<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"authors\">Kelly D.
