She has been at Bu for twenty-five years. She is presently teaching LS 306 Spanish through Translation, which focuses on the linguistic and cultural challenges of translation. As a linguist, she is especially interested in the pragmatics of translation. She has written several articles based on her translations from Spanish and Italian for the website <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.mysticsofthechurch.com\/\">www.mysticsofthechurch.com<\/a><span> . She served as Course Head for the Reading\/Translation Sequence from 2011-2013.
