Grace recently graduated from Agnes Scott College, where her broad liberal arts studies allowed her to explore the intersections of literature, languages, history, and religion. Grace’s interest in translation began with her first translation project, an English translation of the novel Hellé by Marcelle Tinayre. Her particular interests include Belle Époque women writers, Québécois literature, and Francophone genre fiction. She also draws on her experience as a literacy specialist to inform her understanding of reading and translation. In addition to French, Grace has studied Latin, Modern Greek, Japanese, and Scottish Gaelic.
