CGS London Semester
A group of BU College of General Studies students on May 19 toured the home of Charles Darwin and explored the paths and gardens in the English village Downe, where Darwin developed his theory of evolution. They are among 212 students enrolled in CGS’ Summer 1 session in London, where they will also visit Kew Gardens, Highgate Cemetery, and nearby Oxford University, see the musical Oliver and a Shakespeare comedy at the Globe Theatre, tour the historical East End, and catch a night of jazz at the iconic Troubadour. Another 218 students are enrolled in the college’s second summer session. Photo by Adam Sweeting
