Boston Mayor Michelle Wu received the Mothers for Justice & Equality Courage and Conviction Award from Monalisa Smith (right), the Roxbury nonprofit’s founder and president, on October 13 at a gathering at BU’s 43 Hawes St., Brookline, facility.
