One very important rule to highlight, The Offside Rule…..If an attacking (offense) player is beyond the last defender when a team-mate passes the ball to him, he is regarded as ‘Off-side’ and a ‘Free (offside) Kick’ is awarded to the defending team. Note it is when the ball is passed to the attacker and not when he receives it. Also remember that if it is your teams striker that is caught offside, then the decision is wrong, the referee and lino (linesmen) are blind and deserving of your contempt and you should throw your burger to the floor in disgust….
