ASB Volunteers: Tweet Your Experience
BU students share stories from around the country
Nearly 400 BU students left Boston this past weekend by bus, train, plane, and van for nearly 40 locations across the country (and Puerto Rico) to take part in this year’s Community Service Center Alternative Spring Breaks (ASB) program. The 315 students and 80 coordinators are spending the week in communities like Paris, Va., Denver, Colo., Lake Metroparks, Ohio, and Phoenix, Ariz., caring for the elderly, building housing for low-income families, and working to improve the environment.
If you’re one of this year’s volunteers or coordinators, BU Today would like to hear from you. Please send tweets and TwitPics to hashtag #buasb and let us know how your trip is going. Comments will show up in the Twitter widget above throughout the week.
