There are 2 comments on BUTI Gets Three-Year Reprieve

  1. BUTI over the years has become an extraordinary fixture on the international music scene. Reports that the 2014 session was to be the Finale of this remarkable program were unsettling to say the least. That the University has now taken steps to reassess that position is reassuring–and evidence that BUTI plays a vital role in the CFA’s offerings.

Here’s hoping that solutions will be found and implemented that will enable BUTI to continue and flourish!

  2. The BU brand is now real estate…so I can see why they would look at this program as not sustainable-to use the latest buzz word. Also, putting Hoffman in a role that should mentor and inspire the youth is a huge mistake. Phyllis, it’s time to retire. Good luck future opera singers…I hope the art is still around for you in the US when you eventually graduate…or IF you graduate from CFA.
