  1. I am happy to see that the new Admissions Reception Center is restoring the former Hillel House building. It is one of the very few (if any?) buildings in Boston built in the Steamship Moderne style. This makes it worthy of preservation. As new pedestrian plaza to better incorporate the space is also a welcome addition. Overall these two projects make for a thoughful central campus transformation.

Hopefully there will be more attention paid to the actual BU Beach in the future, which can use some updating.

  2. This is a great project for the University. I think having the Admissions Center so close to the GSU and Marsh will make visitors feel closer to current students.
