  1. It’s great that the Massachusetts Green High Performance Computing Center was built to be as sustainable and green a building as possible, but it’s also important to remember to constantly find ways to make the computers and servers themselves energy efficient and green! We’d be saving energy, pushing for even better innovations in computer (because we’d be pushing for computers and networks to be as energy efficient as possible), and also be saving money (that could go for even more research) if we focus on energy efficiency in our computers ( http://www.caenergyefficiencymodel.com/pge-study-more-energy-efficient-computers/ ).
