To get started, try the following recipes for Peppermint Body Scrub and Sweet Orange Coconut Oil.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Peppermint Body Scrub<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/thurman\/files\/2020\/07\/Screen-Shot-2020-07-06-at-10.56.31-AM-copy.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"626\" height=\"411\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2674 alignright\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Effects and benefits:<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Peppermint may release tension and increase circulation, which can help soothe congestion, headaches, and stiff muscles.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">What you&#8217;ll need:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Mixing bowl<\/li>\n<li>Spoon<\/li>\n<li>Jar or container with airtight lid<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Ingredients:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 \u00bd cups sugar<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd cup sea salt<\/li>\n<li>1 \u00bd cups almond oil (or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.healthline.com\/health\/carrier-oil\">carrier oil<\/a> of your preference)<\/li>\n<li>20 drops peppermint essential oil<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Recipe:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Mix all ingredients in bowl<\/li>\n<li>Continue to fold sugar into oil until fully incorporated<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Note:<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Essential oils should never be applied directly to skin. Always dilute with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.healthline.com\/health\/carrier-oil\">carrier oil<\/a> of your choice. Before applying essential oils, please <a href=\"https:\/\/www.healthline.com\/health\/are-essential-oils-safe#topical-use\">patch test<\/a> to ensure no allergic reactions.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Sweet Orange Coconut Oil<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This mix is a mood-lifting alternative to lotions and cremes. In addition to sealing in moisture, coconut oil provides a layer of protection against UV rays, relieves common skin irritations, and has antioxidant properties.
