Originally from Stone Mountain, Georgia, Adia came to BU with preliminary knowledge of Howard Thurman and Dr. King given her dad\u2019s background as a chaplain. After finding her way to the HTC during Orientation and bonding with the staff over all-things Batman, Adia fell in love with the mission and people at the HTC and made it her home throughout her BU career.<\/p>\n<p>Adia is a staple at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/thurman\/programs\/coffee-convo\/\">Coffee &amp; Conversation<\/a> and serves as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/thurman\/programs\/tea-time\/\">Tea Time<\/a> co-facilitator this academic year, inviting students from all backgrounds to enjoy conversation on light topics like the power of music to heavier topics like knowing your rights.
