The HTC will not provide assistance with the request and cannot provide technical assistance at your event.<\/li>\n<li>Student organizations are responsible for costs related to the room, such as, but not limited to, room set ups and custodial services<\/li>\n<li>All requests are tentative until the requestor (student organization) completes the entire process:\n<ol>\n<li>Student organizations must submit all documents to SLIC<\/li>\n<li>If applicable, a floor plan must be submitted to SLIC<\/li>\n<li>If applicable, catering requests must be submitted to Catering on the Charles through SLIC<\/li>\n<li>If applicable, Student Production Services request must be submitted to SLIC<\/li>\n<li><strong>All requests are tentative until a representative of your group meets with an HTC staff member<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>BU DEPARTMENTS AND NON-BU COMMUNITY PARTNERS:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>All BU departments\/ colleges and outside community partners must adhere to the following criteria:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Event must be relevant to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/thurman\/about-us\/\">mission of the Howard Thurman Center for Common Ground<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Be open to all members of the Boston University community<\/li>\n<li>Must use <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/classrooms\/tech-support\/training\/media-support-services\/event-meeting-support\/\">LETS<\/a> for all technology services and requests. No exceptions. HTC staff will not fill out these requests and cannot offer technical assistance at your event.<\/li>\n<li>Must cover costs related to LETS, Catering on The Charles, and Facilities room set up<\/li>\n<li>All requests are tentative until a representative of your department meets or has a phone call with an HTC staff member<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>All events must take place during the HTC&#8217;s operating hours, unless given special permission by emailing thurman@bu.edu. Events outside of normal operating hours will incur hourly charges. Please allow at least <em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">two weeks<\/span><\/em> for a response to your event request. It is best practice to make an event request <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">at least 4 weeks<\/span> before the date of your event, as the request may not be approved.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<div style=\"border-style: solid; padding: 15px; color: red;\"><strong>Book one of our spaces on <a href=\"https:\/\/25live.collegenet.com\/pro\/bu#!\/home\/dash\">25Live!<\/a> Once logged in, search for \u201cHTC\u201d or \u201cFuller\u201d in locations.
