Reel Queer History: Film Screenings & Discussion: United in Anger: A History of ACT UP: The Grassroots Movement to End the AIDS Crisis and Tongues Untied: Giving a Voice to Black Gay Men
- Starts: 7:00 pm on Wednesday, October 15, 2025
Come learn about LGBTQIA+ history with the WGS Program! At a time when evidence of queer and trans activism is being removed from public spaces, we invite you to join us for a series of film screenings that will highlight milestones in LGBTQIA+ histories, political struggles, and cultural productions. This series seeks to amplify LGBTQIA+ voices from the past and connect them with the present. Each screening will be followed by an informal discussion moderated by Dr. Tesla Cariani.
Open to all BU faculty, staff, and students.
Hosted by Women’s, Gender, & Sexuality Studies and cosponsored by the LGBTQIA+ Center for Faculty & Staff and LGBTQIA+ Student Resource Center- Location:
