Bi: Notes for a Bisexual Revolution Discussion Group - A Three Conversation Series (First Meeting)
- Starts: 12:00 pm on Thursday, February 6, 2025
- Ends: 1:15 pm on Thursday, February 6, 2025
Thursdays, February 6th, March 6th, and April 3rd from 12:00pm – 1:15 pm
Join us for a series of three conversations exploring the intersections of identity, activism, and community through the lens of Bi: Notes for a Bisexual Revolution by Shiri Eisner. This thought-provoking book challenges conventional narratives around bisexuality, advocating for a revolutionary approach to understanding and embracing this multifaceted identity. Barbara Conant (she/ella) of Questrom’s Center for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion and Aliyah Phipps (she/her) of Warren Towers Residence Life will co-facilitate these discussions, fostering meaningful dialogue around the book’s themes.
There are 20 open spots, and lunch will be provided at each session. Every participant will receive a copy of Eisner’s book. For those on the BU Medical Campus who prefer to participate over zoom, we will provide a $15 meal voucher to Chequers for each meeting. In honor of Ramadan, we will not eat during the second meeting but will provide boxed lunches for takeaway after the discussion.
Please sign up by 9am, Thursday, January 13th to ensure that we can get you the copy of the book in time. You can sign up after this date if there is still space available. We will notify you once your participation has been confirmed.
