\u200bThe purpose of Terriers CARE is to coordinate Boston University\u2019s efforts to identify, assess, and manage concerning behaviors, such as threats or acts of violence, that disrupt the safety, operations, or well-being of the university community, including students, faculty, staff, contractors, and visitors.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Mission Statement<\/h2>\n

Terriers CARE at Boston University promotes a safe, supportive, and inclusive campus by <\/span><\/span><\/span>identifying and addressing behaviors of concern involving students, faculty, staff, and <\/span><\/span><\/span>visitors. We provide early intervention, resources, and guidance, while upholding the <\/span><\/span><\/span>dignity of all individuals, to support well-being, safety, and success. Through collaboration <\/span><\/span><\/span>and threat assessment, we help foster a culture of care, resilience, and proactive <\/span><\/span><\/span>engagement across the BU community.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
