BUworks Business Warehouse reporting Unavailable 5pm Friday July 13th thru 7am Monday July 16th
The Integrated Planning (IP) budget development program loads are being completed this weekend which require that Business Warehouse (BW) be unavailable for usage. Business Warehouse (BW) reporting will be unavailable from 5pm Friday July 13th thru 7am Monday July 16th, 2012.
Problem Closing ISR’s
BUworks has notified the IT Help Center that there is currently a problem closing ISR's. Please continue to escalate these tickets to Peter Trevino, but also make the client aware that BUworks is aware of the problem and is actively working on a resolution.
Blackboard Mobile vendor site maintenance, 11 PM Thursday – 5 AM Friday.
Blackboard Inc. has scheduled maintenance for their Blackboard Mobile Data Center starting Thursday, Aug. 25 at 11:00pm EDT and ending Friday at 5:00am.
Logins to Blackboard Mobile may be impacted during this maintenance.
Wimba Live Classroom service outage
There will be an update to the Wimba Live Classroom service, used in Blackboard Vista courses, which will result in a service outage while they perform the upgrade.
The outage is scheduled for August 6th at 10:00 pm until August 7th at 7:00 am.
RESOLVED – ACS SMTP Relays Blacklisted by Hotmail
UPDATE: This has been resolved.
All four ACS-SMTP relays are currently blacklisted by Microsoft's Hotmail service. Systems Engineering is currently working on a workaround that they hope to implement early tomorrow (07/29/2011) morning. In the meantime, clients sending mail from ACS will be unable to send to hotmail addresses.
E-Commerce site for MS Office purchases temporarily down
The e-commerce site for personal software purchases, http://ithc.collegestoreonline.com/, is currently down. This site is managed by an outside company, Sequoia Retail Systems, who are addressing the issue. They will provide me with notification when the issue is resolved. In the meantime, please advise clients to retry their purchase later today. We are unable at this time to provide an ETA for resolution.
Blackberry server migration – 5/25 @ 4:30a.m.-6:30a.m.
Please be aware that we may get questions about this message that was recently sent out.
Dear IS&T Blackberry User,
IS&T has upgraded the Blackberry Enterprise Server and we will be moving your Blackberry information from the old server to the new server on Tuesday morning, May 24th. We expect the move to be transparent and you should not have to make any changes on your device. We plan to move your information between 4:30 a.m. – 6:30 a.m. If by any chance you happen to be using your device during the time of the change, any incoming messages will be queued and delivered after the migration. Any outgoing messages, however, won’t be delivered. Please try not to send an outgoing message from your Blackberry during this time frame.
The purpose of this email is simply to let you know that this move will be taking place. If you have any questions or concerns about this change, please contact the IT Help Center at 617-353-HELP (4357) or by email to ithelp@bu.edu.
Adobe Connect scheduled maintenance
Adobe Connect will be undergoing scheduled maintenance starting Friday, April 29 at 11:00 PM and completing Saturday, April 30 by 1:00 AM. During this maintenance window Adobe Connect may be intermittently unavailable.
If the IT Help Center receives any calls during this time, inform the client that there is scheduled maintenance which should end at the time and date stated above. Create a ticket and follow up with the client after the scheduled end of maintenance to ensure that there are no longer any issues.
If we receive reports of problems with Adobe Connect after the maintenance window, create a ticket and escalate it to Telecommunications at phone@bu.edu. They can also be reached at 617-353-2097.
