Quest troubleshooting for SAP

If a Quest user reports that their SAP session is frozen on the terminal server and they wish to manually end it and start a new session, here are some steps you can use to expedite this process:

Step 1)   Locate the Quest vWorkspace Connector icon in the system tray

Step 2)  Right Click the Quest vWorkspace Connector icon and choose “Open Session Status”

Step 2

Step 3)  Click the “Logoff” button to end your session on the terminal server

Step 3

If the application is frozen and clicking the logoff button has no effect, close the AppPortal and the  session will be automatically terminated after 5 minutes. At that point the user can log back in and be granted a new session.
