This power outage should not impact most support services provided by the IT Help Center, including any services supported by the Service Desk, Classroom Technology Services classroom support, and standard desktop support across campus. However, any services provided only out of the IT Help Center\u2019s 533 location, such as personal computer check-ins, PC hardware repair, imaging, data backups, and the sale of Adobe and Microsoft products, will not be available today. Any computers checked in for repair at the IT Help Center will be delayed one business day.<\/p>\n<h4>Current Status<\/h4>\n<p>IT staff normally working out of 533 have been relocated to different areas on campus. Service Desk staff are answering calls to 353-HELP from the IT Help Center location in the Mugar library as well as some staff working at the School of Management. Desktop Services staff have been relocated to various other Desktop Services hubs on campus, such as One Silber Way and 881 Commonwealth Avenue.<\/p>\n<h4>Additional Information<\/h4>\n<p>Power is expected to be restored late this evening.
