To encourage a broader understanding of this framework and to foster networking opportunities throughout Boston University, Information Services &amp; Technology is sponsoring an ITIL Book Club. The book we&#8217;ve selected to read is <em>Foundations of IT Service Management<\/em> by Brady Orand. The Club will meet once a month starting in July 2010 and running until December of 2010 to discuss the selections from the book.<\/p>\n<p>If you would like to sign up for one of the groups, please select your preferred time here. As space is limited, we cannot guarantee that you will receive your preferred time slot, though we will attempt to accommodate everyone who is interested.<\/p>\n<p>To sign up go to <a href=\"\/tech\/z-homeless-pages\/itil-book-club\/\">the signup form<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>Further Details:<\/h2>\n<p><em> What is it? <\/em><br \/>\nBook Club to discuss ITIL reading <em> Foundations of IT Service Managament <\/em> by Brady Orand.<\/p>\n<p><em> When? <\/em><br \/>\nJuly 2010-December 2010.<\/p>\n<p><em> Commitment <\/em><br \/>\nThe time required will be six monthly meetings of 1.5 hours, plus the time necessary to do the reading and some preparation for the meetings. We also ask that you commit to participating in each of the group meetings throughout the length of the program.<\/p>\n<p><em> Cost: Free <\/em><br \/>\nIS&amp;T will provide the books free to all participants.<\/p>\n<p><em> Experience: <\/em><br \/>\nNo previous experience with these concepts is required or expected.<\/p>\n<p><em> Group Structure &amp; Model <\/em><br \/>\nSix groups with eight participants in each group.
