Affected services: BUworks Reporting (SAC), websites, Blackboard\/Echo and many more.<\/p>\n<h4>Incident Description and Resolution<\/h4>\n<p>AWS identified the root cause as &#8220;DNS resolution issues for the regional DynamoDB service endpoints&#8221;. The resolution was complicated\/delayed by the amount of traffic attempting to utilize said endpoints once back online.
